Match Preview: Spurs v City: prediction, team news etc.
It has often felt like we are approaching
crisis, though three points here would ramp up the pressure on the two Uniteds
(Manchester & Newcastle). The last time we met City, we threw a two-goal
lead away. However, we still remain in the hunt for Champions League
qualification and also still in the FA Cup knockout stage.

Tottenham
team news
Pedro Porro is in line to make his Spurs debut
following a deadline-day move to the club, paradoxically against the team who
let him go earlier in his career. Pedro may come in at right wing-back, with Matt
Doherty and Djed Spence departing.
Arnaut Danjuma could also make his first Premier
League appearance as well, though perhaps Son's two goals against Preston will
see him continue up-front despite a poor season.
Manager Antonio Conte will likely miss the game
after surgery.

Thoughts…
Arnaut Danjuma and Pedro Porro have bolstered
Antonio Conte's options, along with the return of a few key players.
Since the City game, we have secured
back-to-back wins with victories against Fulham and Preston in the FA Cup. Despite
a recent problem for Harry Kane, Antonio Conte will likely have a similar squad
available to him for the clash, despite the current situation for Harry Kane. Nevertheless,
with Richarlison back, I am not too worried that Kane might miss this game.
For the first time this season, Kane was named
on the bench for Tottenham's FA Cup fourth-round clash against Preston. The
29-year-old missed the victory after struggling with illness throughout the
week.
What Cristian Stellini said: "We have only one problem, with Harry
[Kane], because he played the last game full of illness. He didn't train during
the week, he trained this morning, but he wants to come with us and be
available. We know very well that Harry wants to play every game, so we are
happy that Harry is involved in the game, but the only situation we have to
take care is this."
Prediction
I am sticking with my win mentality and going
for 2-1 to us.
We have lost four of our past five Premier
League home games (W1), including the past two at home. The last time we lost
three in a row was at home in September 2008.
However, Manchester City have lost their past
three away league games against us by an aggregate score of 5-0 - and only
twice before have they lost four in a row without scoring at an opponent in the
Premier League (Chelsea between 2006 and 2009, and Sunderland between 2010 and
2013).
We have conceded at least twice in our past five
home league games; our worst such run since one of six September and November
1988.
City manager Pep Guardiola has lost all four of
his visits to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, making it the ground he's managed at
the most without winning.
Up the Spurs!
Glenn
