Match Preview: Spurs v Liverpool

Match Preview: Spurs v Liverpool

After our success at Marseille on Tuesday, we hope to make it three straight wins in all competitions when we face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at our Tottenham stadium.

We came from behind to beat Bournemouth 3-2 in the league last weekend, leaving us still in the third spot on the table on 26 points. After that, we secured our place in the knockout round of the Champions League as Group D winners on Tuesday, courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Marseille in France.

Match fitness for the Liverpool game or not

Dejan Kulusevski is out with a thigh injury.

Dejan Kulusevski's thigh problem has proved difficult to overcome, and he will again be missing for Tottenham this weekend, but he was able to train with his team on Friday.

Richarlison is also out with a Calf injury.

Richarlison is still not ready to return from the calf injury he picked up against Everton on October 15, but he is expected to feature before the season breaks for the World Cup.

Son is also out. He will undergo an operation to address the fracture around his left eye that he suffered against Marseille on Tuesday, and he is now a major doubt for the World Cup.

Cristian Romero is also out with a thigh injury.

Cristian Romero has missed his side's last three matches due to a thigh issue, and he has also been ruled out of this weekend's contest.

Everybody else should be fit.

After our victory over Bournemouth and Marseille, I expect us to beat Liverpool by two goals to one.

Prediction 2-1

I think it will be close. Liverpool isn't playing well lately and hasn't won on the road this season in the Premier league. The last report was that Klopp (don't forget the Klopp's went back on Sunday) was done for speeding because he was desperate for three points.

Up the Spurs!

Glenn
