We are back on the road again, with only two defeats behind us this season, once in the league (to the Mugswampers) and the other in the European Champions League (to Sporting Lisbon). At home, we have a golden record… but we are not at home; we are away and will meet the poorer half (football-wise) of Manchester, United (who have been left up the creek by the Glaziers - one yank and they are down -  and it seems, thanks to the Americans, they are much down on the Fergurson years, and may it continue).

United hope to shake off their shitty start while we must continue winning and challenging for the title. We are currently third in the league, while United are fifth with 16 points (we have 23 pts). The top 3 clubs have all suffered one defeat in the league, while United have lost three games. All good so far… but our good start must continue, and I can't think of a better way than showing the footballing world that we are ready to challenge for everything by taking all three points from Old Trafford.

United's last game was against another United (Newcastle), and they could only manage a draw. At the same time, we walked away with all three points against the Toffee chewers of Liverpool (the poorer part).

Glaziers United

It was not a dull 0-0 draw by any means, as Joe linton rattled the woodwork twice in a few seconds before Cristiano Ronaldo thought he had scored a perfectly good goal by intercepting Nick Pope's free kick, but Pawson thought differently.

Erik ten Hag, Glaziers United manager, now must try to pick up the pieces and help his side regain some ground on the top four, as the fifth-placed United have now fallen three points behind Yankee-Chelski after nine matches.

Erik ten Hag's team insisted that there were positives to take from the showdown with Eddie Howe's Newcastle… and he is right… they dropped two points. You can't get more positive than that! Of course, it would have been better if Newcastle had won and taken all three points, but I suppose you can't have everything.

Spurs

Even though the two United's were left with controversial penalty decisions at the weekend, we were on the right end of such a decision against Everton, with Harry Kane taking a tumble over Jordan Pickford and banishing his Champions League spot-kick anguishes to put us ahead on Saturday evening.

Some felt that Kane had gone down too easily under the challenge of Pickford, but that is bollocks. Pickford made a stupid tackle and suffered the consequences (simples!). It was Kane's 400th appearance for us for that game. Our second goal was by Emile Hojbjerg.

Granted, we had to be patient to break down a determined Everton defence, but we eventually overcame and grabbed all three points. We are now level with Manchester City in third place following their loss to the Bin Dipper Scousers.

It is now three wins for us in all competitions.

Ronaldo scored a hat-trick last season to make it 3-2.

United have been beaten at home in the first game of the season. They were humiliated 2-1 by Brighton, since then, they beat the Scousers, the Mugswampers, and the Toffee chewers but drew with Newcastle United. A mixed bag of tricks.

Team News

Axel Tuanzebe (unspecified), Brandon Williams (unspecified), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (muscle), Harry Maguire (hamstring), Donny van de Beek (muscle) and Anthony Martial (back) all missed the draw with Newcastle.

Maguire and Martial are not too far from making their comebacks, while Martin Dubravka and Scott McTominay will be back after missing out at the weekend through ineligibility and suspension, respectively.

Christian Eriksen will not recover from illness in time to line up against us, his former club. McTominay and Casemiro could form the midfield pairing, while Cristiano Ronaldo will aim to replicate his hat-trick in this fixture last season. However, Marcus Rashford will have something to say about that.

Spurs

Richarlison went down with a calf injury early into the second half against Everton; he was pictured leaving the stadium on crutches.

Dejan Kulusevski remains doubtful after suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury. Emerson Royal is set to serve the third and final game of his suspension as Matt Doherty continues to deputise.

Yves Bissouma will likely be introduced into a 3-5-2 formation, while Kane will aim to become the first Spurs player in history to score in six successive Premier League games.

Conte said in his pre-game press conference that he wanted to stick with a 3-4-3, with Perisic potentially moving forward. However, I would take that with a pinch of salt, as I am sure that he doesn't want to inform the opposition of his plans.

My possible starting lineup:

Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Bentancur, Perisic; Son, Kane

My Prediction

My predictions have been widely off the mark this season, however, I have mostly predicted the right result… only getting it wrong against the Mugswampers & Sporting Lisbon. I shall continue with the winning theme, but this time I shall forsake my high winning scoreline and go for 1-2. This seems to fit in with Conte's way of playing. Nonetheless, I hope we walk away with all three points, whatever the scoreline is.

Precition: 1-2 to us.

The introduction of Bissouma proved critical in getting over the line against Everton. Still, we have flattered to deceive on the road so far this season, whereas Glaziers United are a tough nut to crack at Old Trafford.

I will be travelling to Old Trafford with Mel, probably leaving early. It will be a long day.

A bit about the Old Trafford ground…

Old Trafford stadium, also known as "The Theatre of Dreams," was originally opened on February 19, 1910, with approximately 80,000 capacity. During the Second World War, Old Trafford was used by the military as a depot, and on March 11, 1941, it was heavily damaged by a German bombing raid. You can never rely on the Germans to do anything properly. They also bombed the Mugswampers/Gooner's stadium during the second world war but failed. And they say German technology is the best in the world… it didn't help Hitler and his cronies. Never mind, where Hitler failed, the Glaziers are trying to achieve, at least with United.
