I went to the game hoping/ expecting us to do them over… instead, they did us over. It is one of the worst games I've seen in a while.

United haven't had the best of starts to a Premier League season, but they made up for it this time. We left home at 2.30 pm and arrived back from Manchester at 2.15 in the morning. In between, we had to endure the shit at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils produced their finest performance under their new manager, Erik ten Hag, at the expense of our lacklustre performance, as we were swept aside.

The scoreline does not do justice to United's superiority. The scoreline could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for Hugo Lloris. He made five outstanding saves in the first half alone as United rained in 19 shots on our goal.

The victory keeps United fifth in the table, eight points behind leaders Woolwich, while we miss the chance to move above Manchester's richer team, City, and stay third.

Conte said after the game: "Despite the table being good, every time we played a high-level game we struggle. We struggled against Chelsea because we drew after 92 minutes, but Chelsea dominated the game. With Arsenal, we lost and today against United we lost. For sure, when the level is high, we are going to struggle. This means we have to continue to work to try to improve, to work on the pitch and to work outside the pitch. We can improve, we need to continue to work, and for sure, it is right with the club also to analyse very well why when we are going to play this type of game where the level is very high, and we are struggling."

I think that is enough… I am depressed enough with our performance without digging the knife in further… let us hope our game against Newcastle will be a different kettle of fish.

Match Preview: Spurs v Arab's Newcastle United

We will be looking to spring back from our Wednesday's 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford when we face the Arab team, Newcastle United, at our stadium this Sunday afternoon.

We saw our three-game winning run end at the Reds ground when United comfortable humiliated us. We are currently third in the table, four points behind the leaders, the Woolwich mugswampers, and level on points with second-placed Man City.

Team News

Dejan Kulusevski is a major doubt for our game against Arab's eleven. As we all know, he has recently been sidelined with a thigh problem.

Richarlison is also out with a calf injury. He picked up this problem against Everton last weekend, which will again rule him out for this match, but he is expected to be fit for the World Cup.

We have no players suspended for this match; Emerson Royal is available once more after completing his Premier League ban against Man United on Wednesday night.

Prediction

This is a hard one… we are at home, at our fortress ground (at least so far for this season). I would like to go for a 2-1 win, but if we can't manage that, then… well, a draw. That isn't good thinking… but, I am still rattled over the United game.

Arab's eleven have only lost one game this season but drawn five, which is why they are sitting in 6^th place, one point behind Glaziers United and five points behind us. Their last game, ironically enough, was against Glaziers United, in which they got a draw (lucky them!).

Anyway, I will take Janette with me to the Tottenham stadium, while Mel will go in a separate car and take his son and his girlfriend.

We need to buck our ideas up on the field. Otherwise, we could be looking at another defeat!
