Match Report: Everton thrashed 5-0 and Chelski/Putin's boys
Match Report: Everton thrashed 5-0 and Chelski/Putin's boys
We may have had a good victory over Everton by
thrashing them 5-0, but the Toffee grinders were terrible, and we only looked
good because we beat a poor side. Our real test will be against the more
inferior side of Manchester.
Chelski/
Putin and Roman Abramovich
But before all that, I just would like to add my
two pennies worth over the Ukraine support (from all over the world) and Roman
Abramovich's Russian squad (Chelski) supporters' behaviour. While the football
world united over their support of invaded Ukraine, in one part of the UK and
Under the psychological control of Roman Abramovich- Putin's boys, some went
against the grain and showed support for a Ruskie and disrupted Ukraine's
support. This was abdominal behaviour by Chelski football supporters.
Yes, Chelski fans sang Roman Abramovich's name
ahead of their Premier League encounter against Burnley; Showing support for
outgoing Blues owner, while all other British clubs, and clubs from around the
world, showed solidary with Ukraine
The Russian-controlled Chelsea/ Fulham area
manager, Thomas–Tommy Tickel-Tuckel, condemned the behaviour and said, "It was not the moment to do this."
While the rest of the Chelski board kept schtum, I presume they were in unison
with the Chelski Putin boys and sympathisers.
To be fair, this isn't really surprising that
such support exists at the club. All you have to do is walk down the road
leading to Chelski's football club (Fulham/ Chelsea area) to see troglodytes/ bruised
knuckled beings ascending on their Russian motherland's favourite football team
on match day. Nevertheless, action should be taken against the club and those troglodytes
that shame our country. Football authorities and our government should take
action, find the culprits and put them back in their caves. Anyway, that is my
two pennies worth, back to decent fans and our game against Everton.
Everton
succumb 5-0 to Conte's Spurs
We increased Everton's growing relegation fears
and sustained our top-four objectives as Chelski's former player Frank
Lampard's side were outclassed and shamed. On an uncomfortable evening for
Lampard and his players, we ran riot as Everton surrendered in a fashion that
raises genuine doubts about their ability to maintain Premier League status.
The
goals came
Michael Keane fired Ryan Sessegnon's ball into his own net after
14 minutes while goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was at fault for Son's second three
minutes later. Then Matt Doherty set Harry Kane free to put the game out of
sight eight minutes before half-time, while any chance of an Everton revival
were snuffed out when our substitute Sergio Reguilon scored with his first
touch at the far post seconds after the restart.
Everton just fell apart; Kane added the fifth
after 56 minutes, meeting Doherty's perfect cross with a crisp left-footed
volley.
Relegation
and top four prospects
The Toffee grinders are just one point and one
place above the relegation death zone. As for us, we stay seventh, just three
points behind fourth-placed Arsenal in the last of the Champions League
qualifying spots, and we still have to face them once a date can be found for
this fixture.
Everton
is in grave danger of falling into the abyss.
Everton were last relegated from the top flight
in 1951 and have had two last-day escapes in 1993-94 and 1997-98.
Tottenham
Hotspur… we are magic!
We are the "Spursy" of the Premier
League (as some say), with losses at Burnley and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup
mixed in with a 3-2 win over City and a 4-0 win at Leeds United.
Let us be fair, Everton made it very easy for
our side, and we took full advantage of their weaknesses to put ourselves just three
points behind Arsenal.
Harry
Kane
Kane looks on top of his game and produced two complete
finishes.
Kane's goals were his 175th and 176th in the
Premier League, taking him sixth in the all-time list, above ex-Arsenal striker
Thierry Henry and only one behind former Chelsea midfielder Lampard (who was
watching the process).
Thoughts
All that said, we looked good against an inferior
and weak side. A better side against the likes of Everton would have had a
higher goal tally than us. Will we come down with a bump against United this Saturday
or continue improving and show our fans and the world that we are still in the
fight for a top-four spot? After our game against United, we face Brighton
away, the Spammers at home and then Newcastle, also at home. Beat these teams, and
we just might be in with a shout.
Dele
Alli
Before the game started, during the game and
when he came on as a sub, Alli was given a hero's welcome. Nevertheless, he only
had a couple of brilliant seasons while at our club (in my opinion), and after
that, he was in decline. He moved from us to revive his career, but he seems to
have taken a fool's path. Joining a club that is fighting relegation and could
actually end up in the Championship isn't going to help anybody.
I think we've seen the best of him, and now he is
on the decline and will eventually vanish into the lower leagues. Managers came
and went at Tottenham, all trying to find a way of improving this problem child…
all failed…
As
for my day:
I took Janette, and she had a thoroughly good
time. We started off from her house at 1.30 pm and arrived at Tottenham at 4.30pm.
While in the lounge area at Tottenham, Spurs legends Graham Roberts and David Howells
came over to talk to us and gave their "opinion" on the current state
of affairs with Tottenham and the board/ manager. Let us just say they had some
concerns… as we all have, as to the way out of our cesspit hole we've fallen through
in recent years. We had a fascinating discussion.
After the game, 2 hours 35 minute ride back
home.
COYS!
All the best, Glenn
