Stadium: GelreDome Kick-off 5.45pm (British time).
Europa Conference League
I've got the ticket to go to this match, and I am
leaving today (Wednesday); however, what a palaver, all the documents you have
to fill in (about 8). I am going by car with a friend (Mel), so we are travelling
through a few European countries (that is why we have to fill out so many forms).
Plus, we have to buy COVID tests. All this puts the cost up, even though the
ticket was only about £30.00.
Anyway, we are looking to claim our fourth
victory in all competitions.
We have claimed four points from our opening two
games in Group G, while our opponents sit just behind us with three points.
We have claimed three successive victories, including
last weekend's 3-2 win against the Arab team, Newcastle United.
I am sure
that Nuno was pleased that Kane could break his Premier League duck. Kane
himself will be hoping to pick up from where he left off in the Europa
Conference League after scoring the competition's first-ever hat-trick in
Tottenham's 5-1 thrashing of NS Mura last month.
We are currently joint top of Group G on four
points alongside Rennes after our first two matches, and on Thursday, we will
face a Vitesse outfit positioned two places and one point behind us. Vitesse
and ourselves have never played against each other in a competition before.

News
Nuno is expected to freshen up his first XI
after not making a single substitution in the win against Newcastle last
weekend.
Ryan Sessegnon continues to recover from a
hamstring injury, while right-back Matt Doherty is suffering from a knock.
Pierluigi Gollini may be handed a start ahead of
Hugo Lloris. At the same time, Japhet Tanganga, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies
could all be brought into the back four at the expense of Emerson Royal, Cristian
Romero and Sergio Reguilon.
Harry Winks will be hoping to start ahead of Pierre-Emile
Hojbjerg or Oliver Skipp. At the same time, Dele Alli, Giovani Lo Celso and
Bryan Gil are all expected to feature, which could mean Son, Moura, and
Ndombele begin as substitutes.
My
possible starting lineup:
Gollini;
Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Skipp, Winks; Lo Celso, Alli, Gil; Kane
My
prediction; Vitesse 0-4 Spurs
We have already dropped points away against
Rennes in Group G, so Vitesse cannot be taken lightly. However, we are regarded
as firm favourites to get through this group stage and then to the final.
After the game, we stay in Holland for the night.
The following day we travel on the Euro-star. From there home, then in the
evening, I should be going to the pub, on Saturday a group of us have been invited
to the Bobby Robson Box by a director friend at Ipswich and then on Sunday we travel
to the Spammers ground… all exciting stuff.
Be safe, Glenn
